Ugly Truth: Its Impossible to have the same feeling on something/someone

 What is Feeling???

In psychology, the word is usually reserved for the conscious subjective experience of emotion
In Simple words, The sense by which the mind, through certain nerves of the body, perceives external objects, or certain states of the body itself .

It is the beauty of human brain which generates these feelings which in turn govern our life. So is it possible to have the same feeling through our life?No matter what the circumstances/situations, can we still have the same feeling towards something/someone???

When we are happy we tend to feel the surroundings/people surrounded to be friendly and when we are angry every word/every move seems to be attacking ???

We love something/someone today and love it for years all of a sudden we lose interest in it and feel bored then after some time we again gain interest in it .........feeling is always variable depending on numerous factors it is impossible to have a constant feeling towards someone/something for entire life, feeling is intended to change.

The things/people around wont change the situations and our feeling towards them will change.
So friends always be open share and change the feelings do not force feelings it will make them still volatile....................and that my friends is the ugly truth of the day.

Creative thinking: An Instrospect

Its very rare to witness a person thinking/Doing something out-of-the-ordinary.But when he does that all remaining people will think internally that "Yaar, it looks simple but why didn't we realize/done it before".It goes with the famous saying from conan doyle "Elementary, Watson". to put it in another way,"When you hear the solution the problem becomes simple".

So why is it many of us are unable to find the solution to lot of problems and when we hear the solution we feel "yeah, i knew this before". We use some mathematics to find out why??

The way people think depends of lots of factors for eg: the environment which they have grown, their IQ,knowledge they possess etc....

A survey will reveal that "95% of the people think in a similar grounds always, only 5% people think differently i.e., famous known as out-of-the-box/lateral thinking ".

95%---> Step-By-Step Thinking
5%---> Creative/Lateral/out-of-the-box thinking (Terms coined by Edward De Bono)

Lets put it the other way, Every person switches between these ratios most of the times he thinks like the remaining 95% only some times when the situation demands he thinks in the lines of the other 5%.

We need to ensure that we always think in terms of the 5% so that we can excel life and be an inspiration to others.
These people in the 5% are every powerful they can change the entire 95% people, so please encourage those who fall into that category.

Ugly Truth: Ego grows with Seniority

Friends,

At any point of time in our life we all must have faced this:

When talking to a senior guy, if we explain something very basic to him, he immediately says "yeah, i read this long time ago at beginning of my career, good that you have refreshed it.". Even though he doesnt even know what that basic thing means, he simply cant accept the fact that in all his experience he has missed this trivial basic point.

Ego my friends, is like a two sided sword, if we use it in a controlled way we can conquer the world else we will destroy the world not only thou but someone else's also.

And that my friends is the Ugly Truth.............

The Ugly Truth: Series starts Today

Impressed and Inspired from the movie "Ugly Truth" i want to start this series which discusses about the things happening around us boldly, frankly most importantly the ugly truth.

Trek: Day1

We wake up early in the morning, had a semi-hot shower and dressed up for the trek ahead with all the anxiety and eagerness in head we headed for the trek agency office, the walk to the agency made us sweat with all the luggage and layered clothing. We were thinking abt how would our trek in that hot sun???

After depositing the luggage we met our guide made the payment then left for breakfast. Our guide rony was young along with his friend kannu, we were happy as we can have a good rapport as they are of same age as ours.We had a stomach ful breakfast, then boarded the vehicle which will take us to the starting point of the trek.During the journey our guide was explaining about the weather conditions, his village and how the trek is going to be.On the way we had traveled past our guide's village "jagatsukh" where we bought some snacks and coll drinks. The shop owner was rony's cousin, hmmm great to live in a village where you know everyone of them personally.

After that we crossed a bridge and was dropped after gaining some height. There we met our horse men-Vinod Thakur, he was from the same village. Finally we started our trek initial trek was through a small village the path was consisting of steps, we had a great difficulty after some time, we were sweating a lot and were gasping for breath. Then we realized we had the wrong clothing for the wather adn terrain we were in, so we removed all the extra clothing and teared down to a cotton t-short and a jean.

Then slowly we gained speed as we are getting accustomed ourselves for the trek, the previous day hike did not help much but well, its a start. After wlakign for more 2hrs we reached near to the campsite then there was a decision whether to go for primary campsite which is more 1:30 trek ahead and there no water trails on the way or switch to secondary camp site which is 15 mins walk, as its first day we decided to go for secondary.

Finally, we reached our first campsite during the trek, we pitched our tent and got in for soem rest.Meanwhile our guide cum cook started preparing some snacks and tea for us.After a short nap we were in kitchen tent enjoying the ambiance with snacks.

Later we found some villagers on their way to hunt down a bear which is causing trouble for the by messing with their cows, the bear was somewhere in our surroundings and they planned to track it over night and  kill him.

After some times we saw a beautiful sunset through the trees, it was a fantastic ambiance, much more to come ahead during the trek.Later in the night we had our dinner and were involved in a discussion with the crew traversing various topics...listening to the local stories.

We requested rony to arrange for a camp-fire as it was becoming cold as the night progresses, he was very good quickly he collected some big sticks and we  had a warm and beautiful camp fire. After prolonged discussions on various topics we slept late in night thinking of the days trek ahead and whether can we make it or not????

Our first night in the mountains was splendid, serene.........

Productivity at Work Place:

Most of the times we hear HR's/manager's complaining about employee's less working hours and more breaks. Lets discuss what’s would be the ideal solution for this common problem across all companies.

Let’s start out with a basic question:

What’s really important for company, rather why companies hire people????
So that employee comes regularly to office and stay for 9 hours without a break (of course lunch excluded :-) )?????
            (Or)
So that Employee finishes all the tasks assigned to him with good/excellent quality within the given time.

Obviously the second reason makes more sense, but why does people always complain abt employee's not being compliant with the first reason???

To understand this behavior we need to understand the human perception first, we humans always have a tendency to concentrate on "Negative" things and try to avid doing them in the process our mindset is fixed with all the negative thoughts and how to avoid them. This programs our mind to visualize negative things which make things worse.

Instead why don’t we just concentrate on positive things and try to see that we do all we can to accomplish all those "Positive" things. We can program our mind to visualize our positive accomplishments; this will have huge impact of employee’s morale and in turn increases productivity.

This technique technically referred as "Neuro Linguistic Programming", programming the brains using language of brains.

If we see a employee coming late to the office taking more breaks but he finishes the assigned tasks on time with good quality do we need to bother about his breaks????If still HR's bothers about breaks and they put a policy saying nor breaks or some other new policies this will have huge impact on employee morale and directly impacts his performance and productivity.

Tagline is "Think positive and concentrate on positive things, positive energy flows which can do wonders, Why waste energy on correcting negative things".
